About Us
Creating a Change at Every Turn
By promoting accurate health information while engaging with local communities to further public health work, we believe in the power of proactive health advocacy in creating a change in the lives of the people we are fortunate enough to meet along the way.
A Message from the Founder, Fiona Chou
My journey began with a passion for promoting health information to others. I wanted to create visible change in my school and local community by sharing accurate health information because, without health, nothing else matters.
Thus, I founded the first Public Health Club at The Taft School, aiming to spread awareness, fundraise for underfunded diseases, and find local opportunities to make a difference in community health.
As the club grew, students from other schools reached out, inspired to create their own chapters. They followed Taft's template, and now, as an association, we meet at interschool public health conferences to discuss pressing health topics and drive change. Everything starts small, but with a passionate team, we can create significant impact.
